When you visit vaccine debates online, you get to see the ugly side of humanity–especially coming from the “pro-vax” side. There are often death wishes toward children, demeaning jargon, calls for the return of segregation, and threatening of parental rights. It is truly sickening.
One of the themes popping up quite a bit lately is the idea that not vaccinating your children is a form of medical neglect. Some have called parents “child abusers” for not vaccinating their children according to the CDC recommended schedule. Some have equated it to not feeding a child, and therefore, grounds for loss of parental rights. This is why they are dead wrong.
Choosing Not to Vaccinate is NOT Medical Neglect
First of all, medical neglect refers to a situation where a caretaker fails to provide adequate medical or dental care for a child in need of medical attention to “treat a serious physical injury or illness.” In the case of an unvaccinated child, the child is NOT ill or in need of medical attention. Unlike food, which is necessary for survival, vaccines are not necessary for health and well-being. Mortality rates for all infectious diseases, along with other diseases we do not vaccinate for, fell long before vaccines came along. We have been led to believe that we all need some form of medical drug to survive, and this is not the case.
From country to country, vaccine recommendations vary and are contingent about specific political agendas, not necessity. The United States, for example, vaccinates twice as much as the industrialized world. A child is often considered “unvaccinated” even if he or she has received some vaccines because failing to comply with the CDC recommended schedule means they are not “up-to-date.” Does this mean that every other country is committing “medical neglect”? Should we take all of those kids away from their parents for not vaccinating as much as the U.S.? Of course not.
But why is it that if someone chooses to decline certain vaccines for specific purposes it is deemed so by some in this country? Why is it that some are so bent on taking away all exemptions in order to achieve full compliance? What if we chose to vaccinate like the Finnish? Or the Swedish–where infant mortality rates are far lower than our country? What if we chose to wait two years before vaccinating like the Japanese? They lowered their SIDS rates significantly with that one simple change. What if we chose to do our research and made informed decisions instead of blindly following a schedule that has never been tested for safety? Is that medical neglect? Absolutely not. Unvaccinated children are not in need of medical attention any more than a healthy adult. We’ve just been led to believe so because it is profitable to the industry.
Unvaccinated Children Do Not Go Around Spreading Disease
At least not usually. We have this ignorant idea that unvaccinated children are walking petri dishes, ready to infect the whole population and bring back all of the “horrible” diseases supposedly eradicated by vaccines. I’ve seen grown men call these children and their parents “bioterrorists.” The irony is that these are often the same people, who haven’t had a booster shot in years, and who are nowhere near as vaccinated as the U.S. children of today. By today’s standards, which now includes 72 doses of vaccines from the womb to 18 years of age, they, too, are “unvaccinated”–as is the majority of the population. The idea of needing a “herd” of 90-95% of vaccinated individuals has NEVER been reached in any shape or form in any given society, and yet, the diseases have not returned. Why? Because they were eradicated by hygiene and quarantine efforts–not vaccination.
The truth is, many have found that unvaccinated children are far healthier than their peers and siblings. The majority have found out the hard way after living through the horrific experience of vaccine injury with their oldest child. A recent study found this to be true, but the CDC refuses to conduct a similar study to date. Ever wonder why? It’s because vaccines are not as safe as they’ve led us to believe.
Vaccines Carry Risk
When a person makes the statement that vaccines are as necessary as food and water, they are implying that on one hand you have a contagious, fatal disease and on the other, a perfectly safe antidote that will prevent that disease harmlessly each and every time. If this were the case, then we would all jump on board, but it couldn’t be further from the truth. This is NOT comparing “apples to apples.”
Vaccines are a medical drug just like every other pharmaceutical drug, and they have side effects and risks that come along with them. Unlike other pharmaceuticals, however, vaccines do not have to undergo a double-blind placebo study prior to distribution. Nor do manufacturers have to supply the public with the safest possible option. You need to know that Congress deemed vaccines so “unavoidably unsafe,” that in 1986, they protected all pharmaceutical companies from lawsuits due to vaccine injuries and deaths. Other countries around the world, however, are not bound to this law, and class action lawsuits have been filed against these same manufacturers for vaccine injuries to their citizens.
In our country, millions of dollars are paid out by a special court set up to compensate families of injured individuals. The proceeds come from a tax imposed on each sale of the vaccine, but the majority of petitioners are turned away. More evidence of vaccine adverse reactions can be found on VAERS, an adverse reaction database with thousands and thousands of reports of injuries and deaths, limited only by the fact that the vast majority of cases go unreported. Another is The Department of Justice, which provides quarterly reports of vaccine adverse reactions, along with the countless eyewitness reports found on the VAXXED homepage and social media where censorship is limited–for now.
We have been led to believe that vaccines are completely safe, but this is not so. A recent CDC whistleblower admitted to manipulating data in order to hide a correlation between the MMR vaccine and autism. Merck has been sued for lying about the efficacy of the mumps vaccine. The pertussis vaccine makes recently vaccinated individuals asymptomatic carriers, capable of spreading the disease. No, vaccines are not perfectly safe, and it is up to us to determine the benefit-to-risk ratio of each in order to make informed choices for our families. Doing so is NOT a form a medical neglect, and forcing parents to put their children at risk unnecessarily is a huge violation of human rights altogether. A closer look at the industry will give you a better idea of who is actually committing medical neglect.
This is What Medical Neglect Looks Like
It is medical neglect to force a parent to vaccinate a child and then not provide the adequate financial resources for injuries that occur as a result.
It is medical neglect to knowingly cause injuries and deaths to innocent children via vaccination and deny the cause, thus denying them appropriate care.
It is medical neglect to call vaccine injury “neurodiversity” and to convince parents that nothing can be done and therefore, they should celebrate their child’s differences and withhold the opportunity for recovery.
It is medical neglect to lie to the public about biomedical approaches, which have helped countless children recover from autism and NDD. To tell parents that these treatments do not work denies a child access to care that could improve his overall well-being and resolve what can sometimes be a “treatable condition.”
THAT is medical neglect.
The same industry that stands to profit from coercion to vaccinate is the one denying so many of our children the right to live healthy lives without medical intervention. From the womb to the grave, they want to determine what goes into our bodies in order to turn a profit for their benefit. This is the industry that is largely responsible for all of the chronic illnesses our children now suffer from, including autism, NDD, mental disorders, seizures, autoimmune conditions, allergies, asthma, and so much more as are listed on the vaccine inserts themselves. This is the industry causing “medical neglect.”
For these reasons, each and every parent has a God-given and sovereign right to protect their children and determine what is injected into their bodies. Ultimately, they will be the ones responsible financially, emotionally, and physically should a vaccine injury occur. Know the facts, so that you do not get mixed up in the propaganda. Choosing not to vaccinate is not a form of medical neglect.
