Living in the moment has been one of my main focuses for the past couple of years. I absolutely value this beautiful time of childhood and family, and I’ve made it a point to be intentional about the time I have with my loved ones.
I very much love photography for this very reason and have pictures upon pictures of those everyday snapshots. It’s the candid ones that I prefer, the seemingly simple moments in time that make up our precious days.
Recently, I was inspired by a very good friend of mine, who created a post with videos of her special moments. She captured one second each day in order to tell the story of their year. I fell in love with the idea and the challenge to integrate video into my memory “books” and decided to give it a try this month.
I had a hard time sticking to only a second and went over just a bit here and there, but overall, it was such a fun project, and I hope I can keep up with it throughout the rest of the year. These memories are so very precious, and I am so very grateful.
My cup runneth over.
How do you “hold on” to your special memories?
